Agriculture is why these grounds exist, and it is still what they do best. Graham Park has a covered show ring, an outdoor warm-up arena, portable stalling for up to 250 head, species-specific barns, wash racks and enough hauler parking that nobody has to back a gooseneck down a lane. Book it for a breed show, a jackpot, a dog trial or a county 4-H weekend.

Covered Show Ring
A covered, groomable ring with worked footing and clean sightlines from every seat. Bleacher seating for 500 with standing room along the rail, an announcer's booth and a full PA.

Warm-Up Arena
An outdoor warm-up ring immediately off the show ring gate, so exhibitors can leg up without crossing traffic. Fenced and lit for early classes and evening sessions.

Portable Stalling
Heavy-duty portable panels set in whatever configuration your show needs — 10 ft × 10 ft stalls with solid dividers and water at the aisle. Configured for horses, cattle, sheep, goats or swine.

Livestock Barns
Permanent barns for each species, all with concrete floors, wash-down drains and cross-ventilation. Tie stalls in the cattle and swine barns, group pens for sheep and goats, and a climate-controlled small-animal room.

Wash Racks & Tack Areas
Eight covered wash racks with hot and cold water and non-slip mats, backed by lockable tack rooms with saddle racks and bridle hooks. Blow-dry outlets at every other rack.

Hauler & Trailer Parking
A dedicated hauler lot with aisles wide enough to swing a living-quarters trailer, sited next to the barns and adjacent to the campground's full-hookup sites for exhibitors staying over.

Exhibitor rules

Health papers & inspection certificates
Every animal arrives with a valid Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within 30 days, meeting Minnesota Board of Animal Health requirements for the species and for out-of-state origin. Have it in hand at the gate — no paper, no unload.

Arrival & release times
Stalls open no earlier than 6:00 AM on your show's published move-in day. Animals are released at the times printed in the show bill, and everything must be off the grounds within four hours of the final class unless you have booked a second night.

Bedding & manure
Wood shavings or clean straw only. Manure and used bedding go in the marked dumpsters at the ends of the barn aisles, not in a pile behind your trailer. Strip your stall before you pull out or the cleaning charge comes off the deposit.

Biosecurity
Species entrances are separated on purpose — use the one assigned to your show. Footbaths are set at every barn door and are not optional. Bring no outside hay or straw unless it is certified weed-free, and report a sick animal to the show office immediately.

Animal welfare & handling
Clean water is available to every animal at all times, shade is provided for outdoor pens, and rough handling or electric prods are not tolerated anywhere on the grounds. Show management may release an exhibitor for a welfare violation without refund.

Stall assignment & decoration
Show management assigns stalls; trading is done through the show office, not among yourselves. Decorate the stall front only, using ties and clamps — nothing nailed, stapled or taped to a panel or post, and no open flame anywhere in a barn.

Sales & animal release
Animals may not be offered for sale on the grounds outside a scheduled, sanctioned auction without written approval from the events office. Every animal that comes in leaves with the exhibitor or the auction buyer of record.
4-H & FFA at Graham Park
Olmsted County 4-H and FFA members show at the Free Fair in July and again at the Fall 4-H Achievement Show & Livestock Auction on Saturday, October 3, 2026. For a lot of them it is the first time in a ring with a judge and a crowd, and the grounds crew knows to take that seriously — an extra minute at the gate, a hand with a stubborn heifer. The premium auction at the end funds next year's club projects. Youth entries run through the county 4-H program and the FFA chapters rather than through the venue, so start there.
